Let Crystal Image Photography help you to preserve your precious home films and videos from the ravages of time by transferring or duplicating them to VHS tape or DVD (new!). Make watching your most cherished memories as easy as popping a tape into your VCR! All of our services listed below include the following quality control services free of charge:

• Cleaning - All film is inspected and cleaned prior to transfer to ensure the highest possible image quality
• Splicing - Clear or unexposed film will be cut off. If there is an image of any kind we will transfer it
• Leader - will be added at the head and tail of all film reels as needed
• Editing - Any selection of film that is completely blank and lasts longer than 8 seconds will be edited from your tape
• Monitoring - Your entire transfer will be continuously monitored for focus and lighting to ensure your films look their best!

When your film is returned, reels smaller than 400 feet in length will be spliced together onto 400 foot reels.

Movie Film Transfer

We transfer old movie films to videocassette, including Super 8mm, 8mm, and 16mm films, both silent film and films with sound. Use our handy film estimating guide to determine how much film you have on a reel.

We also handle foreign video conversions (from other world standards) including PAL, SECAM, N-PAL, and M-PAL.

Music

Music can be added to a silent film transfer at the cost of $10.00.

Videotape Repair

VHS, VHS-C, Hi-8 and Video 8 tapes can be repaired provided that the damage to the tape is limited to the tape being torn. Price ranges from $20.00 to $40.00 depending on the amount of work required to repair the tape.

**Note: We recommend that a full copy of your tape be made after it is repaired. Copying your repaired tape is an additional $10.00 fee.

Video Duplication

We can duplicate any VHS, Hi-8mm, or 8mm video to VHS.
