Weddings at Sunday Park, Richmond, VA

A tale of two people who met working together a couple of years ago and fell in love, Liwen and Russ tied the knot in mid May. The couple, both graduates of the College of William and Mary, married at Sunday Park in Richmond, Virginia.

The stunning location is popular with weddings given its beautiful outlook onto the water, offering unrivalled views. We were able to head down to the boat docks while the water was calm to get a couple photos of the happy couple holding hands and taking in the scenery with one another, the smiles never moving from their faces.  

Liwen, who is from China originally, had the opportunity to gather her family for the nuptials, many of them travelling all the way from China to be a part of or witness Liwen's wedding to Russ. The day was full of joy as two families met one another for the romantic ceremony and lively reception afterward.

Both bride and groom were joined by their bridesmaids and groomsmen, and Liwen, with a beautiful lace-trimmed gown and fingertip-length veil, carried a bouquet of roses, accented by white flowers and bright pink stargazer lilies.  

Afterwards at the reception, guests were treated to their choice of cupcakes as the bride and groom shared a simple but elegantly designed wedding cake with one another before spending the rest of the evening mingling with family that came from both near and far to celebrate the love between Liwen and Russ on one of the most special days of their lives.
